The Professional service combines our most popular publishing features into a more robust package. It includes all the services of the Basic Package plus more books, more marketing materials, more design options and hardback availability. Authors using the Professional service may customize elements of the interior templates to create an interior that is truly unique.

Professional Service offers:

• An additional 5 paperback copies (total of 10)
• Hardback Availability
• 1 paperback and 1 hardback Author Review copy

• Your choice of 18 Cover Templates
• Ability to supply up to 3 images for the cover of your book

How it works

1. Choose from one of Xlibris' Advantage, Basic or Professional interior templates to achieve the overall look that you feel is best for your book. You may also submit up to 20 images and 5 tables as part of the package. Xlibris will reproduce these images in black and white and place them in the text. The title page can be manipulated to match your cover's font and word-placement.

2. Choose one of Xlibris' Advantage, Basic or Professional cover templates, fonts, and color schemes as a guideline for our designers, include your customization options for the interior template. You may supply up to 3 images of your own to place on the cover electronically or as hard copies for Xlibris to scan. You may also supply an author photo electronically or as a hard copy.

3. Read the Professional service instructions and complete the accompanying order form to submit your manuscript.

4. Xlibris creates your book's electronic layout and cover design files and sends these to you via e-mail. You may request a printed galley for an additional fee.

5. You review your book's electronic layout and cover proofs in Adobe Acrobat PDF format. If Xlibris has made any errors in the layout, you submit the changes online, by mail, or by fax. If you require Author Alterations, you must purchase the Corrections service.

6. After your corrections have been made, Xlibris will re-send your proofs for you to review. If Xlibris has failed to make any of the corrections you requested, simply contact us and we will correct the error.

7. Once approved, Xlibris makes your book available for sale in high-quality paperback and hardback format.
