An Author Alteration is defined as a change to your text while your book is still in production prior to the approval of the final galley proof. Think of Author Alterations as small or spot corrections, such as fixing typos, adding in missing words, and so on.
In order to make Author Alterations, all authors must purchase Corrections Service.
The Author Alterations purchased through the Corrections Service can be used only in a single round and cannot be carried over to another round. It is therefore to your advantage to review your manuscript carefully before you submit it, and whenever you receive a set of proofs.
