The Veteran Feminists of America (VFA) will honor about 30 feminist lawyers, including U.S. Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sarah Weddington (the winning attorney in the famous Roe v. Wade case), who made significant contributions to women’s rights in the 1960s and ‘70s. Sonia Pressman Fuentes, author of Eat First, is on the committee planning and also one of the honorees. This will be an all-day program held at the Harvard Club in New York City.
