How do you ship?
Our orders are shipped using UPS Ground Service in the United States. Expedited shipping is
available at an additional cost. International orders are shipped via UPS or DHL.
Will you ship to a post office box?
No. UPS does not deliver to post office boxes.
What are the shipping costs for books?
Xlibris offers a variety of shipping options to fit the various needs of our customers.
Details about each shipping options are outlined below:
Next Day Air
Xlibris uses UPS Next Day Air for packages sent via overnight shipping.
The shipping time is one business day. The pricing is $49.99 per shipment, plus $2.99
for each book in the shipment.
2nd Day Air
Xlibris uses UPS Second Day Air for packages sent via expedited shipping. The shipping
time is two business days. The pricing is $20.00 per shipment, plus $2.49 for each book
in the shipment.
Standard shipping
Xlibris uses the US Postal Service as the standard method of shipping for all book
orders. The shipping time is ten to fifteen business days. The pricing is $4.50 per shipment,
plus $1.10 for each book in the shipment. Xlibris is not liable for and will not replace any
lost, damaged or stolen shipments.
Priority Shipping
Xlibris will use either the US Postal Service or UPS for shipment of priority book orders.
The shipping time is three to five business days. The pricing is $7.00 per shipment, plus $1.10
for each book in the shipment.
International
shipping Xlibris uses UPS for packages going to international destinations.
The shipping time is normally three to eight business days, however Customs procedures
at the destination country may add delays - Xlibris is not accountable for delays caused
by Customs. Pricing for international orders is specific to the size of the order and the

Note: Shipping times
are in addition to the production time it takes to create the books in your order. Xlibris
only creates books once we receive your request and payment. Check payments have to be cleared
before orders are processed. It takes us up to fifteen business days to make trade paperbacks
and twenty business days to make hard covers. Make sure you include this timeframe into your
plans when you are deciding on your choice of shipping method. Xlibris is not liable for and
will not replace any lost, damaged or stolen shipments via Media Mail.
When will I receive my order? What is the shipping time?
Most customers who buy paperbacks receive them within one to two weeks, whereas customers who order hard
covers have them in two to three weeks. We do our best to see that all orders for trade paperbacks are
fulfilled within 10 business days, plus shipping time (three to five business days in the United
States, depending on where
you live); hardback orders will be fulfilled within 15 business days, plus shipping time.
(Please note that if you sent your order in by regular mail, you will need to add another
5 days to the overall turnaround time.) We are constantly monitoring and modifying our printing
and fulfillment processes in order to deliver books faster:
Over the past two years, we have reduced our printing time by as much as a third! Please note that all
orders shipped via Media Mail are not insured. Xlibris is not liable for and will not replace any lost
or stolen shipments via Media Mail.
How do I check the status of my order?
To check your order's status, call our book orders customer service
line at 888-795-4274 x277, and they will tell you when you should expect
your order to arrive. Please have your order number ready. All books orders
are given an order number when the original order is placed. If the representative
you speak with does not give you a number, be sure to ask for one.
