An Echo of Applause is the latest of six collections of poetry published by this author. Dr. Robert Birch is retired after almost 35 years of practice as a psychologist specializing in marital and sex therapy. Initially he wrote bawdy limericks and then moved on to other forms of verse. His first book of poetry is highly erotic, but with each successive publication he has moved toward broader topics.
