Author Biography
DAVID RUDD WISE was born in Dallas, Texas, 1934, graduated from Forsan High School in 1954, and joined the Navy in 1955. During 12 years in the Navy he was aboard: USS Antietam CVS36, USS Moale DD693, USS Grand Canyon AD28, and stationed at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, and Sidi Yahia, Morocco. He joined the Air Force Reserves (ART) in 1982, spending 12 years and 9 months at Grissom AFB, Indiana, working on the A10 Thunderbolt ‘Warthog’. He retired a master sergeant with 24 years of military service. Wise attended Texas Tech University, Purdue and Indiana University of Kokomo, Indiana. He received a certificate of graduation from the Community College of the Air Force. Residing in Indiana with his wife, Rachel, he works on civilian aircraft, flies, writes, and treasures hunts.
