Author Biography
As a writer in English and German, this author hovers between two cultures. The texts in this volume address nature, politics and art. Intrinsically, the texts reflect a feeling of life and thinking about issues as they develop after a writer has changed countries. The last section offers some satirical entries. Themes of being between cultures weave throughout the poetry and short prose, genres best suited to writing about a fleeting, floating existence of the in-between. Taught by writers from different cultural backgrounds, Irmgard Hunt has been publishing her work for more than two decades and now presents texts written in 2000 to 2004.
