About the Author
Author Elbert Greer built himself a little beach house on a small island in the Caribbean. He was a school teacher in the United States at a local college in Memphis, married and living in midtown. He thought a dog would be good for their waning relationship; of course it wasn’t, and he wound up with the dog. He did turn out to be a rather smart dog, and, of course, the author and he are the best of friends. Greer ended up here, talking to a confused birddog that thinks ornithology is his calling.
