Description

Red Bear’ s mother, White Fox has taken ill and is in danger of dying if not treated soon. The village doctor advises Red Bear that the only cure is Black Lightening which can only be found in the Black Mountains, a very dangerous place to go. Without hesitation, Red Bear and his friend, Prancing Deer volunteer to make the treacherous journey. They encounter many obstacles along the way, not the least of which is being attacked by a large bear and then being captured and hung from a net of a tall tree. In order to obtain their release, Red Bear must strike a bargain with his captures that will put him and his friend in even further danger.
